Hi -

I have an Elite 5 w/ Navionics Gold and am trying to figure out the best way to get overlays or boundaries for MLPAs. Most of the other forums have methods where the co-ordinates are saved and routes created between them. That would work for me I don't mind doing that but am wondering if there's a much easier way to do this.
Not really looking at the phone app 'cause my phone battery is pretty horrific with the GPS turned on.

As always, thanks in advance.

Punch in the numbers in manually creating new waypoints.  I use X symbol, this way I can see where I am at anytime.

Same here, but I prefer the Skull & Crossbones icon.  :smt005

Thanks for the replies. I started to put them in yesterday but got tired of crouching next to my kayak in the backyard punching the numbers in and was hoping there would be a better way. I think I need to get a spare power cable for the unit so I can do stuff like this at my desk or something.

Skull and cross bones it is :) Did you just put in the points or also create a route connecting the points so you would see the MLPA shape? Does your screen get too cluttered?
