All loaded up ... and going nowhere 
Up at the crack of dawn to get the kayaks on the truck with all the gear and just as I was about to take the dogs to doggie daycare, I saw one of them fidgeting with her eye. Trip to the emergency vet and find out it's a minor infection. Daycare won't take care even though it's not spreadable to other dogs. Now we're scrambling to find a sitter to watch them at home. Definitely going to miss the paddle but hoping to make it for the potluck.
Looks beautiful out there (at least in Berkeley) - have a great day, everyone. I guess I'll just have to wait to meet NCKA.

Thoughts of the PIF 2013 event...

Friend asked "if I won anything".  My first and only reply was yes.  We all won the true grand prize; shared, special moments with Mooch and tons of great times with my extended family.

Thanks to EVERYONE for all the great memories and the awesome time the group had during the raft up.  You had to be there; beer, sharks, laughter, love, moonshine & a little something to do with Racing Robs butt
