My current favorite movie is The Social Network. Haven't read the whole thread to see if it was mentioned yet.

In Loving Memory of Mooch, Eelmaster, Shicken, and Cabeza De Martillo

I was kind of surprised to see Moonrise Kingdom referred to twice. That's great. I totally dug that movie. The main character is so self assured when he splits with the toy canoe, two packs, and an air rifle.
Great supporting role for Bruce Willis too.

Recent discovery of another odd semi-sci fi film, "Safety Not Guaranteed".

For a totally non-PC series, I just finished the first 2 seasons of "Archer".
Now I have to rent "Gator" :smt044

   Paint Your Wagon.  73?     Classic.

Clint Eastwood was talking to the trees then, now he's talking to chairs. :smt044

one thing that makes or breaks a movie for me is the soundtrack. I find myself after seeing a movie getting the whole soundtrack and when listening to it you can almost see the movie in your head as you are listening.  Anything composed by Hans Zimmer is for the most part going to be a winner, as he usually only puts his hands of things that are on an epic scale. with that said my two favorite movies are:

Gladiator
Braveheart
Saving Private Ryan
Inception
City of God (smaller film that is phenomenal)
-Wet Behind The Ears-

Wilderness Systems Ride 135

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain

"It’s not whether you get knocked down; It’s whether you get back up.” - Vince Lombardi
