Windy City Heat

Its a Practical Joke That everybody in the Movie is in on except for The "star" Perry. They make him think he beat out all these great actors for a lead role in an upcoming film. They F*&k with Him like no other. The guy is a character too!

I'd have to say this is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, and the only to make me cry laughing

I like to have fun.......

Just read this whole thread I did not see one John Wayne movie. There were several that were great. I remember the first movie We went to back in early 60's Shaggy Dog there was a line waiting to get into the theater. It was around the block only single screens back then we waited for 2 hours to see it.

OK, this may be personal bias, but I really liked this one. Brought back haunting memories, but Im good with that. Its part of who I am. Lost too many friends on all sides of the conflict to forget.

Its on Netflix. True story.

Lord of the Rings (all). They could have ruined a great trilogy, but instead did an awesome job

Forrest Gump.   Fishing is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you'll catch  :smt002

Blind Fury. The blind Samurai (Rutger Hauer) slices off the bad guys eyebrows and then says, " my specialty is circumcision ." Very funny

Lady Hawk - Medeival romantic swashbucker with comedy mixed in. Michelle Pfeiffer (at her most alluring), Rutger Hauer and Matthew Broderick.

The Sweetest Thing. Cameron Diaz - Chick flick comedy from the chick perspective. All the things
chicks say and do (like backing up to urinals) when the guys aren't around.

As Good as it Gets - Jack Nicholson & Helen Hunt

Better off Dead - John Cusack - Funny !  So many classic lines - He jumps off a bridge but falls into a passing garbage truck - leading to the line - Now that's a real shame when folks be throwin' away a perfectly good white boy like that - or -on ski racing," Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn!  Reindeer suits, an Asian street racer who talks like Howard Cosell and self propelled jello also play a part.

True Grit - the original

Highlander. The first one. The rest are crap

Winner, 2012 Fisherman's Warehouse, Tiki Lagoon - Stripers.

Proud paddler - Pay it Forward Paddle 2010 / 2011 / 2012 / 2013 / 2014 / 2015 / 2016 / 2017 / 2018

In the game of biggest fish, if you can't enjoy routinely gettin' your ass handed to you, by great fishermen, then you don't belong in the NCKA.

Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. ~Henry David Thoreau

Sharky, have you seen "Shooting Robert King"? Also based on a true story - actual combat footage from Bosnia, Chechnya and Iraq. (also in netflix)

A great new movie is Moon Rise Kingdom with Bill Murray and Bruce Willis.  Not what you would expect from either of these guys but a very nice, entertaining movie suitable for almost any audience.  Available for rent at Amazon.
