Another nice feature of a trail cam is it makes for a decent portable security cam.
If I know UPS is delivering a package I position the cam so it is focused on my doorstep.
That way if it isn't there and they said it was delivered I can see the dirtbag who took it.
Same goes if we go on vacation.
Neat tool to have.

I agree that there is something special about seeing nature as it is without human interference and unmolested.

  Yeah getting the right placement is key I think, and I haven't found it yet.
, the spot I have it on now I rotated it 90* to view up my yard.  I'll have to locate the trail deer use and find a suitable camera location covering it.  I'm sure other critters will be using the trail also.  Sadly no new shots on my camera over the weekend.
