as a plus, the standard cart fits in most front yak hatches, once you take the wheels off.

The beach is far for me :-( I'm in Sacramento so offloading wheels and tires is what I'm after or dose this matter?

Eventually, you will find yourself taking a saltwater trip.  That is when you'll start to think about why you didn't just go with the wheeleze first time around.

When I first got my kayak, I looked around the posts and realized most were using the big beach wheel wheeleze so I just went with those and haven't regretted since.  I'd listen to these guys and not waste your time with other carts if you know that you will eventually hit the beach someday.  But, if you're 100% certain that you will never go near the ocean, then standard wheeleze like Piscean mentioned should be fine.

If you ain't first, you're last.

+1 it's mostly the big wheeleze sand tire ones that are expensive.I got the one with the rubber wheel and it was 150.I wouldve like the sandtires though

My biggest worry is that my wife(when I'm dead)will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it

I ordered the large size beach wheeleez from Hook 1. The regular asking price was $219.00 but after the 15% discount NCKA gets it was around $185.00. They will be back ordered for about a week but that is a big savings especially since I had to order (2) one for me and the wife. I called and talked to the guys at Hook 1 and they were very helpful.

Thanks to Headwaters in Lodi CA I was able to buy a gently used Seattle Sports Kayak-Cart for $40 :-)

Now all we need is one my kayak-cart and the wife and I will be mobile lol...
