Never thought of that Mike, but I thought we weren't supposed to mention power bait on here lol.

Glad to hear that you caught a few.  Last year everyone thought the koks were all killed off during the dam construction.  The DR is the way to go with these little guys.  I think leadcore takes most of the fun out of the fight.

Every thing but the kitchen sink! The only thing I could get them to hit was a wedding ring set up that I made with fluorescent glow orangish red beads rhinestone ring and a gold plated spinner.

One thing I learned from trolling for trout it to use a double gamakasu hook set up since I did that even the soft mouth koke can't get off easy.

thanks for the info. I like the double hook rigging too. The one koke i caught on Sunday had one hook straight through its bottom jaw and the other impaled in its eye, so it wasn't going anywhere. I did miss a few bites and lost a few fish though...Maybe the ones that got away were kokes...

I stopped and talked to the Kokanee guides when I was leaving and they said it was a tuff day with a lot of short strikes I had my share of those today too I basically couldn't take my eyes off the down rigger pole they hit so lightly and weren't pulling the line from the release clip.
