Site Search Function

Is there a way to not search for letters within words?

There is an option in the advanced search to "match whole words only".  But, it still highlight partials if something else matched the whole word.  For instance, in the picture you posted, notice that all the posts have "AI" in the topic.

Why is it that when I choose to search "this board" I get results form the entire site? Does it work right for anyone else?  I was searching general fishing tips for info on trout fishing and I get everything from hookups to recipes. 147 pages of results is gonna take a while to sift through. Thanks ken

Well I discovered that if I go to advanced search and click to choose a board to search in, I can limit my search to specific boards. I was trying to use the drop down menu in the basic search and that doesn't work for some reason. I am glad to have figured it out because there is so much great info here that is difficult to find if you have to scroll thru page after page to find what your looking for.
