Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I am going out on a Salmon charter Friday. I am currently on business in AZ and so not get back until late Thursday. I just started wondering if I needed any special report cards for ocean salmon that I will need to pickup somehow between now and then?

I plan to go out for salmon on Friday too. If the wind and seas calm down. Boats have been able to get out of the gate since April 7.  I'm going on the Hog Heaven from Sausalito. Which boat will you be on?

BTW, I confirm no special stamps or report cards for salmon.

On this note, what are the regs this year, specifically the size limit? Still 20"?
May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

The Hog Heaven and the rest of the Sausalito fleet that went out (New Rayann and Outer Limits) had boat limits today.  It was a great day.  Often had doubles, triples and quads.  Twice we had five fishing going at one time.

I went on the QOH on Wednesday out of HMB and fished the north side of the deep reef and caught a 28" and 29". 1 hour boat ride.

Sadly the captain decided not to go out. I was going out of Bodega so I am not sure of that changes anything. I really think he had a group cancel and i was a single so it just was not worth it to him. Not sure. I am going to try and get out next week so fingered crossed for that.
