I still have two combo units dvd and vcr.
could those units record from video to dvd. I have some fishing videos from Alaska that i been wanting to transfer to DVD before the vhf tape deteriorate :smt001
Will see if I can help you out there. I have a Dazzle converter that supposedly converts from video cameras/recorders to digital. Will let you know when I retrieve the unit from a friend.

Alex, I can convert your tapes. Once I figured out the quirkiness of the Dazzle converter software, I am now able to convert VCR tapes, even DV and 8mm tapes if the camera/player is available.
