alot of hobie owners use the paint buckets for Homedepot; and do a little mod to make it fit. there's a thread somewhere in the Hobie section, may have to do a search.

I prefer the Hobie gear buckets, think I am up to 8 of them now; one for each species I target. I hate to keep emptying them out when i go for another specie...

Sweet! Thanks for the info guys...my Hobie didn't come with a gear bucket  :smt044 And nowhere local to buy them. But this bucket trick looks perfect! (Just like my trick using a Sunny D bottle in pre-2009 Tarpon hatches)

I bought my Hobie Gear Bucket from the kayak shop in Moss Landing.  Had to call ahead and have it transfered from their shop in S.C.  Think it was about $20.  Guess I have better get mine first.....  I had them bring 2 into Moss Landing & I only bought 1 of them.
