Hello Everyone!  I'm new to the site, been lurking for a while  :smt003 , and figured I'd introduce myself.  My name is Michael (Tokuzo is my Japanese name), and I've been kayak fishing for a couple years now.  My brother-in-law got me out one day, on a loner yak, then I bought my T13 the following month.  I must say that my fishing addiction is even worse now, and I try and get out at least a couple times a month.  I know/fish with a few people on the site already and can't wait to embark on some more fishing adventures with everyone.

Welcome to the group!!!  Lots of opportunities this year to get out
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

HAHA!  Pat's a peace maker, so he gets a free pass.  I do wish he made it out though.  Nice meeting you too.  I should have respooled for that trip, but was simply too lazy  :smt011  Learned my leason for sure, since I came home with 0 Sand Dabs.  The wife was happy with the blues I brought home though.  Hoping to make it out again sometime this month with more line..... and a container to keep them in so I don't accidentally lose a bunch of them while landing my yak.  :smt003

Welcome dude! There are a few of us fishing out of Salinas but not too many. Look for the dabbin hookups and I may have to post a few for salty perch in Carmel.

Thanks, Meat Hunter, I'll have to check that out.  I've never eaten Sand Dabs, but Andy says they're great.  So I definitely need to try them.  I've caught them by accident on some pretty big baits, and always just threw them back.  Hopefully I can go nab me some this month.
