Cody and I were crawling through the willows back home hunting whitetail deer, and we came up on a clearing. A Great Horned Owl swooped off a perch and flew just over our heads. It was a very cool experience. Glad Cody was there too see it too. Another cool bird experience we had was up at Georgetown Lake. There were a bunch of coots in the cove that did not freeze over yet, and about twenty bald eagles. The eagles would swoop down and snatch a coot, climb way up, and dive bomb the ice in the middle of the lake, bounce the coots off the ice, and then land and eat them. Probably fifty or so coot carcasses out on the ice. Funny as hell to watch, wish we had video.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.
