Mooch, I am actually going to carry the same seat.  Should be able to get them in a few days. I can't wait to use it myself :smt001 :smt001

In my opinion the seat is not one of the things that I want to accesorize I have the plain jane surf to summit seat that sean carries and I could not be happier with it. its simple and comfortable bottom line. all the bling seats add is confusion to an already difficult situation, im not sure I would want another set of rod holders right behind me just something else to get tangled and adds to the clutter.

But Im a minimalist I dont even cary a crate anymore Ive noticed most people cary 100 times too much gear than they will ever use I just fill up the little bucket under the hatch of my cobra and thats all the tackle and accesories I need.

I wonder who will be the first to store their gaff in the rod holers on the seat and then atempt a surf launch...Here's you sign. :smt009

This is just my opinion, not ready to argue with anyone. :smt003

I agree with you James - no one should store anything on their decks for surf lanches (or landings). But when you clear the breakers, it's nice to get  things organized before you start fishing = having a waterbottle, pliers, hemostats, a billy club secured  - within easy reach - behind the seat creates less clutter up front = where all the action occurs  :smt045

IMO: a comfortable seat will keep you on the water longer - ask Bill  :smt003
