A big Thank You to all you Veterans out there in NCKA

A big thanks to all those that have served and who are currently serving.

Thank you Veteran's for serving our country! Each year our school puts on an assembly to honor them and invites veteran's in the community to come. We honor their service, their presence and their hearts. This year I could barely get the program started before I started to break down a little as I was reading the welcoming remarks. I was thinking of all our men and women who never made it back from their duty, or came back injured. I was thinking of my dear dad who serve in the Korean War, my grandfather who was a naval officer during WWII, and all my uncles and cousins who serve in Vietnam. I looked over at all our parents in our school who have served and their relatives. Darn, it was my honor to lead our school in something so small compared what all the Veterans went through to say...thank you! We appreciate you!
