Are you allowed to use two poles in the Benicia area?  I know you can't use two poles in the bay, is there some point where that changes in the delta?

east of the Carquinez/Vallejo Bridge you can use 2 poles with a stamp. Peteluma, Napa, Sonoma creeks 1 pole only. SPB 1 pole only.

What Adam said and you'll need a 2 rod stamp if fish from kayak/boat or non-public pier.

The artwork was done by the previous owner Josh.  I just recently "adopted" this yak and it's my first time using it.

Nice one Sonny. :smt006 Glad you're able to take a break and fish with Hobie-Dave. Stripers are thick in our area right now. Live bullheads is the ticket for the big ones. :smt002

hi guys,

Thanks for the report. I'm in Vallejo and was not aware of Green island until your post.  Gave it a try yesterday and did the slide down the ramp to launch at low tide, but I have a small inexpensive kayak until I can afford a nicer one.  I was fearful of sliding and geting drenched. but actually had to push myslef down the launch, once I sat in my kayak.  Tried cut anchovies and multiple trolling lures by marker 13. No luck so then over to Brazzos marker 14, until high tide where it was much better getting out. Guessing there were crabs munching my bait, cuz I was losing my bait with no strong pull downs. That near the launch channel is shallow at low tide too- maybe 6-8 feet at best.  Again thanks, now I have a closer spot to launch!
