Heading out to monterey bay with the fam... i wanted to stop by some or a good tackle shop with kayak fishing advice... anyone know of a tackle shop? i definitely would like to stock up on some RF and Hali rigs for a future hook ups with you guys. your reports are to awesome to pass on.

Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of options around here.
Try the Tackle Box in Salinas off Davis Rd, or Compass Bait & Tackle in Seaside off Broadway, or JDs Auto/Gone Fishin in Sand City. There's also a small West Marine on Del Monte before the Navy Postgrad school.
Definitely hit up MBK in Monterey on Del Monte for kayak-related gear (or their Moss Landing store). 
And it m/b worthwhile to take a stroll onto the wharf to see if anybody is returning w/tuna. Same goes for the breakwater ramp next to the Coast guard jetty.
