Nick,

You need a bigger trailer, I have a 4x8 with full size wheels of you wanna trade!   :smt003

I have been looking for that exact same trailer..... Let me know if you come across another one....

Glen
I put too much sweat equity into this one, Glen. It is a Harbor Freight small utility trailer that I adapted to haul my yak and tool box. The trailer was <$200. It cost me about $90.00 to have this guy fabricate a 9' tongue. The rest of the materials cost very little. I can work with you to put together another, if you are interested. (My fee for a completed unit is one espresso from Starbucks or Peet's.) They are 12" wheels. I recommend repacking the wheel bearings every 4-6 months depending on usage.

Just got back from about a 300 mile trip with no problems with the pipe.  I checked over the pipes closely when the PA was off at the campground and found no cracks or other faults.
I may do a 10 mile dirt road trip to a favorite lake this week and see if the PA falls off then............ :smt003

Nice setup.  I don't think you will have any problems with that tubing breaking.  I believe the black stuff is made for outdoors, weather and UV resistant.

The only thing I would add would be a couple of 45 degree  threaded elbows on the ends.  Then you could thread on a couple of longer pieces and when it came time to launch, just hop in and slide on down into the water.    :smt021

I've given this subject a little more thought today while loading and unloading a ProAngler through the tailgate of my 4Runner.  I notice the PA transports well on a flat surface, so I think a simple hull-wide plywood platform mounted to the crossbars would work well too.

Thats pretty thick stuff.  I imagin if they do break, them breaking will be the least of your worries.  I think that if you keep them covered (Not exposed to sun) when not in use, then the worry of UV breaking them down won't be so bad.  A simple inspection once in a while will also help keep the worry down.
