To further contend....I went to the A's Dodger game yesterday, and there was a blind woman watching the game. Someone explain that one!

if you watch Oakland sports long enough, one becomes blind.  :smt003

my wife rips my head off when I use "good" instead of "well" He performed well NOT he performed good.

I don't really buy the speach pattern explanation either, I don't recall any teachers/professors that would of let me get away with that

Gramatically, both are correct.
Literally, neither are correct because, as previously stated, blind people don't drive.
My pet peeves:
Continue on....Why add 'on' to that?
Raise up...Doesn't 'raise' already mean up? Can I raise it down?
Past history...is there any other kind of history? Isn't history something that has already happened....in the PAST?

Why did Bucket start this thread??? LOL

My wife and I, were driving and saw a van with

Caution: A blind man's driving this vehicle

It was a Blinds Direct van. I thought it was funny but the grammar was wrong. That started a debate with my wife who thought it was right.
