I'm currently working on a lingcod piece that includes octopus, juvenile rockfish, kelp greenling, and sardines.

Um, can I get dibs on that?

FYI, (and I hope you don't mind me saying so, Sean), the prices are quite reasonable...  About what you'd pay to have a poster framed, and probably underpriced considering the work that must go into them and the fact that it's one-of-a-kind original art by one of our own.

Oh, I'll have some expensive stuff  on display as well, don't worry.  :smt003

The theme of my garden show this year is "The Castaway Oasis" :smt004.

I will also have some inexpensive things like magnets, a few t-shirts of the rastafish style, and some jewelry.

As for the Doonart show in total, there will be at least 15 other artists of all types participating, working in fused glass, ceramics, prints, sculpture. There are some fantastic artists involved and I am not only stoked to be part of it, but also stoked that we are keeping it open to anyone with the motivation to produce original art in the Bonny Doon area and building our community (unlike some more rigid open studio shows in the county). I met with a number of the artists last month and they are a great group.
We're working on some promotional stuff (the tiger shark piece is a donation to the Bonny Doon elementary school fundraiser) and the advert brochure and map should be ready this week. I'll post up the online version once I have it.

i just got a few pics up for the art show in July. Here's a link to the DoonArt website:

http://bonnydoonstudiotour.com/artists/walker/

Currently have finished a WSB piece, yet another Vermilion piece, a large octopus piece in Polynesian tattoo style, and a few magnets.

Also my address marker is now topped by a red 24" vermilion rockfish cut out of 2x12 fir, so you can't miss it.

Next up is the previously mentioned "Lingcod with prey", a sea serpent piece, and maybe a giant squid piece.
