Ono is for sure starving for business now. Let's help them out - maybe they'll deliver to the beach for a big order?
Mooch, if you liked 7-11 then you'll probably like L&L. Just my 2 cents.
Keep us posted on Gray Whale; I was hoping to dive that this summer. Still might even with the ride.

Rich and Art....bad news...Grey Whale Cove is closed off. You can only get as far as the dirt parking lot on the Northern part of Montara Beach  :smt011

There's plenty of good Hawaiian food in the Bay Area. Besides Ono's, there are at least a couple L&L's spread around, and I think it's the Rainbow Hawaiian drive in in RWC, near Main on El Camino. I've heard it's changed hands, so it might have a new name. Food was still good the last time I was there, about 6 months ago.

If you are on Hwy 80 heading to or from Tahoe, check out Kau Kau Hawaiian Drive in. Off at the Foresthill exit, head towards Foresthill (Southeast) and make a right on Lincoln, then left just opposite the Starbucks. Tell them Scott and Maggie sent you, and get their Kalua pig and Lau Lau special. Yum! The owners spent some time cooking at various drive ins in HI, and the quality is some of the best I've had here on the mainland.

Scott.

I think we should start a thread on Hawaiian restaurants  :smt002

Can't wait to hit L&L  :smt007

Scott - I heard of that place in RWC but never see it when I drive around the area - must be "hole in the wall" type of place.
