if you count the $ amount of stuff i've lost at coral street i think that its near 200$. dive knife, spear shaft, super nice dive light.
i also had a similar instance like you, i mounted my sealife DC1200 to my speargun, dove down came up, and it was gone. after 30 minutes of frantic diving i found it, so i hope my luck with finding camera's passes on so i find yours...
we should hook up and dive coral street because i know a couple nice spots there where the fishies usually are, and 4 eyes are better than two looking for a camera.
sucks to here about that though, i really hope it turns up

That sucks!!!

I'm assuming you didn't have the strap under your hood? My first time out with mine (with FM1) I lost it over by MBK...found it just before it got super dark out!

Hope you find it bro...I'll keep my eyes open on some of the other diving boards in case anybody posts up that they found one over there!

Jim

sorry to hear it, maybe we should invent some kind of tracking devices to all our dive/fish stuff...

I gave Nathan a lot of grief after losing his knife...then the next trip I lost mine.  Karmas a bitch.

I put a small piece of paper with my name, phone # and email inside the housing, in case I lose it and someone finds it. Huge bummer about your camera, definitely put it under your hood in the future.

just north of coral street at otter cove i once got tumbled in about 1.5 feet of water and lost my dive belt with all of my bullet weights. i was so bent out of shape i drove straight to the nearest shop and got another but it hurt me in the wallet. i could not believe it, so little water and i just couldnt hold onto all of my gear.
