Catfish are hot right now. There was a big tourney last week. I'd hit the keys area where they release the fish after weigh-in. Good luck Darius!

I fished the tournemt last weekend. The bite should be good if it isn't too difficult with the wind. Big fish have mainly moved from deeper water and have started moving into the flats. There are a lot of channels 8 to 11 pounds. Its not the way it used to be

Whats the best bait to catch them catfish? I was thinking cutbait sardines will that work? I will pu it Kork 12 inc leader, any suggestion? I will also bring my bow fishing are the carp showing up? Thanks on any input I am shore bound...family thing...

Cut bait will work fine. I like mackeral but i fillet the bait and wrap it with magic thread. Use a big bait. fist size. Carp are coming out. Corn and bread will help bring them close to you on shore.

No prob let me know how you do. It has been good. My dad took 7th place and i took 19th out of  700 fisherman at the derby last weekend
