any one else see the pics, look so cool 12'x34" i think same price and the greatest looking seat ever

I haven't seen any pics of this yet, but I have heard rumors of a lighter, smaller version of the Pro Angler.

That's a ton of cool stuff on that seat. Also a bunch of cool stuff that could break  :smt002 Those things would be awesome to hunt out of.
And you could hear me screaming a mile away as I was headed out for the door....

Can't wait until the seat is sold separately. It would be nice on the other mirage drive yaks if it fits.

Hobie's description on their website says it's an "AFFORDABLE ... personal watercraft" (emphasis added). Affordable in Atherton? I'll have to stick with my poor man's Adventure...

That thing is badass. When I ws fishing la jolla, it seemed like every other yak angler otw had one.

Gino, congrats and I want to demo yours! See u otw.

Blame Josh Pruitt for that.  :smt005 :smt005 :smt005 You can chuck a surface iron further standing vs sitting no doubt about that. Personally for fishing NCAL, the AI is the yak of choice for salmon and WSB. Personally I prefer a lighter and more nimble yak for technical surf launches. The design is cool but almost overkill IMO. Yeah it would be great at the East Cape, but at Limekiln or Garapata, don't think that would be my first choice.

Scott - Its obviously designed more for freshwater, look at the location where the video was shot.  My T13 rules for surf launches. With this new design, Hobie has left their competitors in the dust. Hobie's give you the full potential to use both hands for fishing.
