The Lost Coast and Big Sur would be cool but not that many places to land if things went bad and the surf can be gnar.

Never been to East Cape but I heard good things about it. Dream on LL... it may happen soon.

Tell me about things going bad... I find it tough fighting a strong rip current and I was wishing for wind while my legs were burning.

Scott that sounds like some good times. How are you doing on your Adventure conversion, have you started yet.

Oh yeah, huh. Scott, let me know if you need a hand. I work just less than 10 minutes from you.

Pat -

After much discussion, I decided to go with the V1 kit because of the issues with the Aka II bars and they would have cost me $1-200 more. I will receive my kit next week and will have the Aka bars  installed for a test run at BSS2. For the mast retainer, I will probably ask for your assistance on. I am not in a real hurry though because none of my crew are sail ready. I will PM you for some dates. I forgot to mention that the YFT are mixed in with schools of thousands of dolphins. The experience of trolling in a school of mammals is spectacular beyond belief.
