Now are you talking about open cell neoprene or the lined neoprene suits. I don't have an open cell suit so I couldn't say anything there but me and my buddies have 7ml pinnacle wetsuits.they wear there tighty whiteys where I go commando.Ive done both but I prefer letting it hang.when you get out that's one less thing you have to take off.and if your worried about mooning the public a beach towel always does the job for me

I wear nothing. As for changing in public, I have a large towel that I wrap myself with. This is how I change for surfing as well. Never flashed anyone before.
