Shes feeling normal today and the tooth isnt so tender. Debating now just waiting to see what happens. Almost 1000.00 to remove the tooth. Damn!

Honestly that sounds pretty inexpensive.  And thats a lot cheaper than having to treat an infection later

It is my understanding that eventually it will cause pain or infection and the only choices are extraction or root canal and yeah that is expensive. Shop around for sure. The funny thing is my cat broke a fang and my vet told me it is no big deal. Guess cats are different.  In fact he lived to the age of 19 years. I never understood why people spent so much for health for dogs but since I own one, I completely understand. Tough decision for sure. Whatever you decide, I am sure will be the right thing. I don't think it is wrong to wait and see if your dog is feeling fine. It's all about quality of life.
