x2, I've been using this model on my Search/Rescue team for 3 years, all types of weather with no problems, nice and light, multiple settings, highly recommended.

It also has a battery meter that tells you when you need to replace 'em. And the head also adjusts up and down  :smt023

Mooch is there a way you can have the red come on 1st or do you have to go through the white to get to the red?

Mike, apparently the model I have is the first generation (I've had it for several years now) cause I don't have the red light feature.
