Just saw these at Wally World $10 look more durable than the Hog Troughs 20" expande to 36" and the have a piece of Styrofoam to make them float.

I picked up one of those a couple weeks ago when I was getting herring in Crescent City.  I like to support the local fishing tackle shops, but Walmart has some good deals.  I like their Mustad line of pliers and other gear too.

Dude I'm gonna check it out. I've got a crack in my trough. Eventually, it'll be the third one I've broke.

I bought mine at Walmart as well.  Don't really like supporting them, but I happen to be nearby so I stopped in to see if they had any pool noodles.  No go on pool noodles, but found this Plano trough for only $10.  As they mention in the canadiankayakanglers, the numbers can be hard to see in pictures.  Definitely doesn't come out as clear as the black numbering on white background of the hawg troughs.
