News Flash... the window is closing on a unique place to hang...  after numerous talks with Alan Hawg what ever number it takes to get done will work...be it 32x$200.00 or hell 64 peeps...but if no one steps up it's gone!!!

Main thing to know it will be rented out by the end of month...for 12k a yr...or us..........

I put down an $800.00 deposit 2 weeks ago...money i didn't have to do this but it's a very cool location to hang!!! what sucks is when it really gets good to fish/dive that area I'm on the road working out of state....but it's the first place I would like to come back to in the fall RB Classic in Oct!!!    RB2 will it happen???

I am taking Chryss up there the weekend of teh 4th in an attempt to convince her that we should drop teh $$ on this!!!  killer deal for an AWESOME PLACE TO GO

Heck, if it's only 12K/yr and on a double-mortgage, I might be interested in buying it. I can't throw-in money to rent/lease because I won't make it up there this year, so it's not a wise investment for myself...but I'd be interested in purchasing it outright. Who owns this place and what's the deal? I guess I just don't get it.

hehe I know, right? lol my current mortgage is 2500+ per month (bought in 2003) and it sounds like this w/b less...so why not? But I seriously have no idea what I'm talking about & promise to shutup now.

Property is owned by cattle ranch , Allen has 20yr master lease on buildings. The barn is only part of it. He needs help in saving the barn property area and upgrading.

i just talked to allan this past weekend and he would like more then anything for our group to get this deal , hes a cool dude who fits right in with the many colorfull personalitys of NCKA and we can really help build this place into soemthing bigger then it already is.

UpDate...  RB2 is still on for Oct...the renting out of the Red Barn to non NCKA is final...game over....

Alan was talking bout doing a mini kind of thing for Aug and Sept for 150.00 but just spoke with him and he's plugging renter in this next month.........camping will still be available but the 8x800 is off... says the renter is cool...but damn what a loss........

Plans are in the mix to rehab the other building on the property to accommodate a similar experience in the future...so maybe next year or the next it will be available.....................  Sounded like a killer idea and its not over...Alan wants to put up a zip line to be able to fish the Red Can!!! wouldn't that be sweet!!!  Wind comes up and you just have to paddle to the Barn instead of the Fort!!!
