I thought I had another hit on my CL post to find Ben Guitarzan's stolen yak...until I noticed the email was from some guy named Glen Armas lol...
But this is a killer deal for 800! Somebody's gonna score big time.

So what gives? :smt003   Either you're getting $100 more than you wanted or the price was negotiable. :smt044

Hopefully, for you Glen, you sold the $800 package for $900.

can't blame her for tipping? :smt044

actually... contemplating on that issue still...

1st sent me an email saying he wants to see it; so I called him back, but no response...

2nd person that emailed; called them back, told her that there was tentatively someone else who emailed and she up the ante...

what's the proper thing to do?

then I checked back on NCKA... and I get all these inquiries....arrggg.... i should have just posted here....and not on CL.....

You know what will (edit: MAY) happen is that the putative buyer will show up with $50-100 less than the prenegotiated price, or come with no money at all and just be a looky-loo.  I hate CL for that reason, have been hassled so many times like that.

I tell them straight up - don't bother showing up unless coming with cash in the amount of the asking price, which I've predetermined is fair (I always have relevant comps, too).  And before showing anything when s/he shows up, I say "did you bring the greenbax?"  If not, Yakuza bids them a fond "SAYONARA motherscratcher."  Its a damn nice boat G, and I'm tempted to pick it up if I didn't already have two.  Cannot do three, as I hardly ever even get out anymore so scoring your yakzilla would totally be gilding the lily

I thought of that after; I think she just said $900 to get me to have her come over first, then will try and knock it down to the original $800 or less...

Little does she know, I am not 'hard-up' to sell this boat that bad. If she tries to go a penny less that what she offered, see-ya!

I sell tons of stuff on CL...Honestly its 1st come (NOT CALL, NOT EMAIL) 1st served. The only time I wait is if a person is physically on their way to see/buy. Very rarely do I hold stuff for ppl. If people really want it then they should move their ass.

Glen, if I knew that you had intentions of selling your T13, I woulda bought that from ya in a heartbeat especially at that price!! I bought my camo rudder T13 for a $1000, and I thought that was a good deal lol.

If ya ever thinking about getting rid of the Revo lemme know first ;)

For you Daniel, anything!!! What we should have done, is trade mine for the one you won at PIF; and then I'll sell yours.... bummer...
