We had a good rapport with the local coast guard way before the event.  It was suggested that we fly flags for increased visibility.  So we REQUIRED flags at the event.  It turns out that most guys in NWKA already fly them so it wasn't a big deal to us.  It was, however, a big deal to the CG and the locals.  They were all very appreciative of our "manners on the water".

The DB coasties were great. They got out there and took up the guardian postition while the power boats charged through. We really appreciated their presence. Im also now a believer in the safety flag and not just for tourneys.

Im diggin it too. So glad the Kraken decided to let his freak flag(fish) fly.
I think youll be seeing more high flying fish above team bridgeport boats.
