That's a really cool rock greenling!   


Seen a few swimming around in past dives, but never seen one in person out of water.  Very striking pattern!

Good to see you guys out there, hopefully timing works out better in future.

I've never seen one like that.. Really cool... There was tons of Greenlings in the shallows, they sure are fast..

BIG congrats Brent! You went from spear virgin to fishpimp! That's a great stringer of quality fish. Those rock greenies taste way better than kelp greenies. They grow bigger too.

This is just plain awesome!!!

I dive and look around for a bit and see it hiding behind a rock, and pull out my knife and go down and stab him and bring him up!!

Yeah I was f'ing fired up when I stabbed him and brought him up...let out a big old manly yell!!!!!!!!

 

No, no ceviche...I just fried two up real quick while Porky and Bloodbath were cleaning their catch so they could get a little food in their bellies...will have to make sure he busts the ceviche out next time!!
