Camera Mount for OTW shots

After hearing from other ncka members about how to mount my camera, this is what i came up with:
First i mounted a Scotty base and trimmed the bottom so as not to interfear with objects in yak
Next I removed the base section from a Scotty extension and inserted a 4ft piece of aluminum tubing
and bent the base end approx 60 degrees
Than I went to REI and purchased a mini tripod and attached it to the end of the tubing
After attaching the camera i simply hit the timer for 15 seconds slide it into the mount grab my fish an take the shot

Very nice Eric.  I already own that mini-tripod so I might try to rig something similar.  I like  how you manged to ask a question and then turned everyone's responses into your own answer to the problem.  Now you just need to get some good photos for your OK Pro Staff bio page.

Rods were in the holder for display but not being used
Don't think I could handle a triple hook-up

This camera mount is pretty cool Eric!!! Inspiring bit of Do-It-Yakself ingenuity! And thanks Jeff for bumping it back to the top! Because I somehow missed it the 1st time around.
