Go Pro camera goes to space!

This is pretty cool. For a science project, they attached a Go Pro camera to a balloon and sent it 19 miles into the atmosphere. Oooo now I'm really looking forward to the day my son is old enough for school science projects!

GEE, no pictures of a high altitude landlord.  Maybe thats' a good thing.  Other than that its' a great video!!!!!

that took some serious cajones to put a HD video camera, and cell phone in a styro tub hoping to retrieve it.  Glad they did though!

Real cool 

When I taught middle school science, I would have a model rockety unit in which the kids would build and launch powder engine rockets. A way to teach basic chemistry and physics that the kids loved and looked forward to.
The whole school and many parents would show up for the launch day. We would take video from the launch area but it never occurred to me to put a camera on a rocket
