Andy, that's pretty cool to see your boy chase that crawfish, looks like a blast!! The water is so clear, always nice to see wild trout here is our local waters.

great report Andy. I love Seco, such a fun spot with loads of crawdads.. Did you hike the gorge and hit all the different pools or just work one area...

Itching to get up there, is it open year round, its been 15 years since Ive been there.

Itching to get up there, is it open year round, its been 15 years since Ive been there.

The upper river (above the gorge) is open during trout season May-Nov 15. And the lower river (below the gorge) is open during steelhead season Dec-March 7. Some beautiful fat trout in the upper river if you go through Ft Hunter Liggett.
