Eric, I shop at FW (sj) so much it's not even funny sometimes  :smt044  I know all of the employee's, they all know me by name, even recognize my voice when I call and at time's im dropping by there weekly to pickup odds and ends.  I belive I missed every "no tax weekend" sale during the holidays, since I was usually gone fishing  :smt004   But even though I wasn't getting a deal, I did spend because I get the advice and tips from people like you!  But when I want something thats not in the FW store, or there is a good deal that I can use to stock up on some products, I find bulk deals or odds and ends online.  Sometimes what I want is just not in stock at the moment at FW, so rather than going from store to store, I can usually find it online.  But for the most part, if I need it this weekend, i'm most likely going to head straight to FW :smt002

Beenfishing,
Sorry if it sounded like a personal attack, didn't mean it that way.
I just had a bad week with similar situations like the one i described above and also found out that another big box store will be opening about three blocks away from my location.

To everybody,
Thanks for the support and I do believe there are some good on line business out there - Hook-1 is a good example. My problem is with the guys who sell tackle and pretend to be tackle experts but don't even know how to use the product they sell.

Times are hard in Fresno and I haven't seen an increase in finances in over 4 years. This combined with another competitor slicing the pie a little thinner makes me concerned about my financial future. Also makes me wonder if I have wasted the last 24+ years in this industry just to see a big box conglomerate come in and distroy my livelyhood.
