Aug 21st at MBK then a Dylan Concert

Bob Dylan will be playing Saturday August 21st, at the Monterey County Fairgrounds.

Might be fun for a bunch to go fishing Saturday, spend the day at the beach, then head to the Fairgrounds and watch Dylan. Might be too smoked out by then, out I may be on my second wind, out passed out completely by then! (show starts at 8:00 p.m.)

Another option is go to the show Saturday nite, stay at the beach and fish the next morning.

OOPS! scratch that, tickets are going from $125 to $350 each.

Oh well, still gonna post to see if anyone would be interested in going.

I'll try to make it out with you stoggie. Not sure if I will be out on the hill that weekend or not but if I'm free I'll be there. I need to get some fresh blood on my NEW yak

No need to pay for the concert. You can hear it for miles around. The best spot to catch the concerts @ the MoCo Fairgrounds is playing golf at Monterey Pines golfcourse!!! Seriously, we can do a crazy marathon day of Man stuff...we shall call it Man Fest 2010 = Fishing, then golf, then poker at Jim's house! Last one to passout wins!

Edit: wait, Man Fest sounds hella gay. Maybe call it something else...like maybe The Badass Marathon or something...

The 08/21 Badass Marathon passes through my house on the home stretch!!! 

Don't got to play poker if you don't want, but drinking and being an A-Hull is mandatory...at least for you!!
 

As long as somebody has Dylan on their iPod we can have our own damn concert!!

Fishing and Poker.

Could also get a combo tourney going. Fish in the Morning, golf in the afternoon. Every legal fish caught will result in 1 stroke off your golf score, so someone could catch their limit, and be a bad golfer and still win. If you catch and release you could save twenty or more strokes!
