  Those reverb waves,  ( I always called em reflection waves to myself, don't know what they're supposed to be called), are deceptive as all hell. A little bitty six inch one that looks like nothing  when you first survey the beach ,can totally upend a yak because they are traveling so much faster than apppears and because the water is shallow.
   I think I almost had a knee thrown out because of one coming off a cliff up the coast at Wilder,when you could still surfcast  there.
