Sharkbait and I where thinking about diving on sunday with the A hulls but after I saw the Ab trip they had planned, figured no way they would be able to repeat on sunday.  So headed out to PG.   Sharkbait did great, diving down in 25-35 feet, lying in wait, doing the whole ambush thing.  He picked up a respectable stringer of 6 decent rockies.

my bottom times sucks so by the time I get there, its time to turn around and head back after 5 seconds.  When the vis is great, I am ok as I see where I am going.  But to blindly go down and then start looking doesnt work for a fat old guy.  AFter an hour or so, I gave up, climbed on the yak on pulled out my "just in case" rod and started traditional fishing.  Scored a nice stringer of decent rockies with 2 jumbo olives in the mix.

As I was fishing in close to sharkbait to keep an eye on him, my last jumbo olive wrapped me up in the kelp pretty well.  I had sharkbait dive down and free him for me.  Now I need to train him to fetch my irons in 80 feet  :smt003

imagine my surprise when I read a report from the A hulls.  They made in on sunday!  Damn whodathunkit  :smt004

I'm not sure who are my bigger heroes - A-Hulls or Tsugi's!   :smt001  I'm going with Tsugi's until an A-Hull can do a handstand on the yak.   :smt003

Handstand?
Try a 720 Mc-Ahull-spin through the surf, riding fakie! without spilling a drop!  :smt003

Thanks for the report Utwo2Gs!
Remember the part in Return of the Jedi when Luke realized he could kick master Yoda's ass...well, I have a feeling that day will be soon Eugene. That kid's probably got the strength, flexibility, and cardio to kick all our asses underwater.

Without spilling a drop is the only part of that I understood and can claim to do!!

I also think it is technically called a 420 Mc-Ahull-spin!!

Eugene, so cool you and your son enjoy the water together, and I second what PK says...my money's on SharkBait/BadAss!!
