Speaking of wheelez... I hear that people pull off the tires and store them in their hatches.  But for me to get the tires onto the frame, it took a hammer to get the pieces to slide together.  I cant remove them now!  Anyone else have that issue?

Wish I took a pic of my improv'd Wheeleez icechest cart on opening day! That worked pretty dam good!
Brent/b.pass/porky/PORKY, I assume you're thinking about what to do w/the wheels after launching at Cap? Why not just ask Ed if you can stash them in the shop?

ha!

At CAP, ill prolly just lock them to the pier, underneath in that cubby hole like Big Jim did. I dont usually go down the pier when im launching and i need bait or something... But that is a perfect option, hes super cool!

I'm sure Ed would keep them in the shop for you, or you can just lock them up under the pier...they stay pretty hidden back there!!

Brent, I was able to fit mine in the front hatch without deflating...maybe the T15 hatch is a little bigger than the T13 hatch??

Works killer cuz then I just gotta lock the frame up...was also able to squeeze the frame in the hatch, but didn't like the way some of the edges rubbed on the hull once it was in there, so not gonna do that. Could also strap the frame on top of the hatch or in the tank well, but liked having that area clean...

Al, maybe some WD-40 or some Manteca??   :smt002

PK, your cooler cart was the bomb!! That's they way to do it!!!  :smt004

Sincerely,

Jim

My old cable lock just froze up, and it wasn't very thick anyway, so I today I bought a better one, Masterlock 8113D, 5', 1/2" dia at Home Depot. The pointy end makes it through the hole fine. I wish it was 6ft, but 5 will do for most places I lock it, I think. Uses a key.

Wheels that are hard to get on and off the axle are often because sand gets into the space between the two - there's not much room there.  I have to shove a wet rag through there with a stick (or the pointy end of my new lock) now and then, and they go on and off much easier.  If they were new and hard to get on, maybe you could so some sanding with very fine grain paper.

Losing wheel pins:  I did, so I replaced them with some things that look like big hairpins with a curve halfway up one of the legs that grips the axle after you  just shove them in and you can pull them out with your thumb. Got them at OSH, if I recall, in the tiny parts: wheels, bushings, etc. display.

Those locking pins are great!
