John!  Where the hell have you been?   :smt003

I've only gone out twice since ling opener, but know a couple guys who went yesterday & one out there today.  Still decent amount of lings, vis has been better than expected, & this weekend is shaping up to be pretty nice.   :smt001

Welcome back to daMadness.  :smt002
Conditions look great right now and the forecast is primo. Hope you bag some nice fish. I think Andy fishmaster1 is planning to spear @ Stillwater on Sat too.
I was gonna warn you of the Tritons ling meet, but it sounds like you already know. Not a bad thing--just might be more people than usual.
Good luck John!

thanks for the welcome back! yes the ling meet will produce some nice fish. i'd love to enter but its a family / short dive day for myself and i have been away from spearing for a while now and need to get back into it.

unfortunately i have lost my gps with the waypoints where i had spotted lings a while back so i will need to scrounge for whatever i get.

hopeing for fishbowl conditions.

I'll either go to Stillwater or to Carmel's main beach. If its calm and warm the main beach could be a lot of fun as those reefs are always nice and one would not need to pay to enter the cove.

Good luck to all, i'll post results if i have any :)
