They were originally given away to participants of the Angler of the Year (AOTY) competition (like 3 years ago) to ensure everybody was providing legit measurements of their fish. IMO you're better off w/one of the metal ones because these plastic troughs are kinda fragile. "fra-g-lay...must be French" haha Xmas Story flashback
