The great party and food made up for the poor fishing. It was "a beautiful day on the water." Good luck and good fishing in the northwest interior, Jay and Theresa!

Andy

p.s. Great pictures, too. Love that one of the little blond doing some grass fishing in my yak!

Jay and Theresa, my grandaugter wanted Papa to take her to the Easter egg hunt at the Petaluma fairgrounds and you know that I just couldnt turn that down. I think you both know that I think you guys are just great. Its been fun fishing with you two and watching Theresa on the water at Albion last year when the grown men were puking was the best! I can hear her now " Ive got one." Watch out for those big wakes at paradise girl. If you are ever back in the area you always have a room at The Ravensblack Hotel for lost fisherpeople. Love you both and Jay thanks again for the lures. :smt006

Andy, Thanks for the yak rental. Maddy is our's. Anytime she sees a yak she runs to it and says "Daddy boat, I want it!" I guess she spends quite a bit of time in the garage with her old man.

Nobody mentioned Sonny's self-rescue practice??  That, sadly, was the highlight of the OTW part of the event....

(Spash)

"Hey Sonny, see any fish??"

"What's the water temp?"

He was a good sport, as always...

Gonna miss you Jay, and T, and dogs.

That jello salad was excellent, as was the smoked trout dip.  If i didn't catch one at least I got to taste one.

and the cake!!!  killer diller

It's getting warm so I jumped in the water to cool off (j/k)  :smt003  Joking aside, I wasn't planning to fish that day but Dave told me there're Catfish there so I took the lightest yak in my fleet, the Hobie Pursuit (I got dumped once before by this same yak).  This is a fast yak to paddle but also quite "tipsy" when idling!  I'll use it for "surfing" from now on  :smt044
