That is awesome man! High desert is just magical. Rattlers still in the dens?

They're not out yet, but a few days of warm weather is all it takes.

Way to catch the courtin" displays. I've never seen a sage grouse for real. They are cool looking birds. Hard to believe that little creek is holding native trout. Looks like it would dry up in the summer...Nice

why a link to facebook?  isn't this place(NCKA.ORG) good enough to post vid/pics onto?  Facebook is for talk'ers. NCKA is for do'ers.  I cant DO facebook, so i guess i'll never see these pics.

The creek is fed by several springs along its course.

Facebook is just a holding place for the video, like youtube, but the quality is better.  I would imagine that HD video is way to big to house on NCKA.  I also thought (wrongly it seems) that anyone can view the video.  When I get home tonight, I'll upload the video to youtube and provide a link.  Thanks Andy, for pointing out the problem.

I modified the original post and inserted the YouTube link to the video.  I also added it below.

Here's a short YouTube video showing some sage grouse on a lek.  Best viewed in YouTube full screen at 720p.
