Beavers do have teeth!

True.  But when they put the clamp down, then we call em snappers.

I hate to say it but being gnawed to death by a giant rat with 2 giant chisel teeth is kind of disturbing. Not to go "sky green"'but I never factored in the "beaver apocalypse" into my SHTF planning. I'm thinking they are not big and slow moving so an AR15 would get the job done, right? Or maybe the mossy with a kage for close combat.  :smt005 :smt005 :smt005

Hemcon seems to be coming out more on top in the Military as it is in a bandage.

Celox, if I recall is made from shrimp outer skins, so if you have a shellfish allergy this may not be the treatment for you.

If you are a real outdoor person either of these would be the difference between life and death.

Lastly tacticle touriquets are very easy to use.  Many field medics are apply the tourniquet first, then apply the hemcon dressing.  As the dressing does it stuff, it is possible (don't try this at home) to remove the tourniquet, this results in a higher percentage of saved limbs.
