I have only a little to add to this. I showed up late and left early, fished from about 10:30 or 11 until about 3:30. I caught a bullhead, a crab and a striper. The striper had a DFG tag in it. I'll send it in but I'm not too hopeful about a reward because the tag had no reward amount on it and it says on the web site that the amount will be printed on the tag if there's a reward.
One other thing: I saw some small fish jumping, they were maybe about 10" long and silvery. They jumped about 2 or 3 feet straight up out of the water. I saw it happen 4 times. Anyone have any idea what they are? Do small stripers or herrings or jack smelt jump?

I think that those might have been herring Mike. I was marking some lines of bait with fish following. Stripers chasing herring would be my  bet. Good to see you yesterday. Many sturgeon were caught up in the Pet river yesterday. Next stop? Papas taverna and downriver 1 mile.

Nice striper FishinMike. Maybe you could send Jim (Insiene) a pm  to see if he has an interest in the head and other samples of your catch.....for his research.
