GD crabs everywhere today. I mean it was almost funny. Almost. I caught another sturgeon today to make it 3 for the year so far. Late in the 9th, dwindling bait supply. Nice fish, just under the slot, low end. A powerboat corked our ass and I was thinking how cool would that be for one of us to hook-up and get towed right by the dude while fighting the fish. Sometimes prayers are answered. Saltyone took some pics so I hope he will post them up. we had a great crew out there today. Allen, Patrick, Ben the guitarman, Birdman John, Saltydog. Fishinmike, The famous Gabe, aka El Dorado, the sturgeon master and me. Breezy sunny day, water temp crawled up to 56.6 at the highest. Lots of reeds in the water and small dungies everywhere. A good day to be alive. I got a baby striper too. Back to mama boy!

Congrats onb the fish - it sounds like he cruised by at just the righ tiome. Too bad he was a bit short.

Based on what I saw yesterday at Yellow Bluff (from shore) I bet the current was really ripping up there. On a side note there was a whale feeding off Ft Baker/Yellow blufff on Saturday.

Great to be OTW & fishing with an excellent crew today! Here's a few pics of Craig's fish fight. Calling that fish up like a Babe Ruth homerun, right after the pb anchored up off our grills, CLASSIC!  :smt044 jim

Nice day OTW - good hanging with a great crew.  Enjoyed it guys!

The crabs ate well today, and did their part to end the recession for the bait industry.   :smt012

Craig - you da man!  Thanks for the hook-up.

Here's a stock tip...buy tons of shares of Promar. The crab "nursery" is alive and well in the bay! For hours I played Three Flies Up with the baby dungies. I could just picture the underwater scene as my weight hit the water...all those crab with their claws in the air yelling ....I got it! I got it!
Caught one leopard shark and loaded up on something heavy for about five seconds. Another great day on the water and on the beach chatting it up with friends.
