Anybody using mapcreate software for hand held GPS?    I have the iFinder H2O and mapcreate 7 and I'm trying to figure how to set up my map with all the restricted or closed areas marked.. so far I haven't been able to get it done.   Not a huge amount of forums out there that have info on it and those that do are all about just loading the software and issues with vista.. etc.

any help would be apreciated!  :smt006

I may have figured it out.. rainy days are good for something at any rate!

I  pulled up a web page showing the coordinates of the zones and then manually entered in the corners, and set them as icons.   Was hoping for some kind of whiz bang shaded block or at least connecting lines.. lol.  At least this way I can just make sure I don't go past the latitude lines of the zone.

Sounds like you already figured it out. But yeah, that's what I did too (same GPS too lol). I just grabbed the coords of the boundaries and plugged them into the map as icons (the pirate black death icon haha). Remember, these GPS are only accurate to 3 meters or whatever, so stay away a good 10-15ft away from the borders....don't set up right on the line.
