My wife bought me a PirahnaMax210 for Christmas (she even swapped the transducer for the scupper hole version :smt001).  After reading the install directions, I am not clear as to which direction the transducer should point when installed.  Does the pointy end point towards the bow or the stern?  Thanks and HNY to NCKA :smt006

I think the pointy end goes to the stern....Although I actually don't think it actually matters

The pointed end is supposed to face the bow.  This only matters if you mount the transducer outside the hull, and you have water flowing around it.

Thanks to all for the input.  It seems to fit the recess in the hull best with the pointy end towards the bow, so I'm a goin' that way.
